Theory:
LIKE MORE THAN is a way of comparing how much you like one thing compared to another.
EXAMPLE:
I like beer MORE THAN whisky.
This can be expressed in other ways.
LIKE MORE THAN means PREFER which means LIKE BEST which means like BETTER THAN.
EXAMPLE:

I PREFER beer.
I like beer BETTER THAN whisky.
