ADVERBS OF FREQUENCY
Theory:
Commonly used adverbs of frequency are ALWAYS, USUALLY, OFTEN, SOMETIMES, OCCASIONALLY, NEVER.
They are used to indicate how regularly a verb happens.
EXAMPLE: He ALWAYS plays the violin at night.
ALWAYS = 100%
USUALLY = 90%
OFTEN = 75%
SOMETIMES = 50%
OCCASIONALLY = 25%
NEVER = 0%
They are positioned BEFORE THE VERB
or AFTER THE VERB TO BE.
EXAMPLE: i ALWAYS EAT at 2.00.
I AM ALWAYS tired at 9.00.
