There are many kinds of nouns:
Proper nouns, which are names like David or London.
Collective nouns, which are words used for groups of things, like a BUNCH of flowers.
Common nouns, which are things, like DOGS or TABLES.

There are many kinds of COMMON nouns:
Abstract nouns, which are things you can't touch, like HAPPINESS.
Concrete nouns, which are things you can touch, like TABLES.
Countable nouns, which are things tou can count, like BOTTLES.
Uncountable nouns, which are things you can't count, like WATER.
Singular nouns, which are one of something, like DOG.
Plural nouns, which are more than one of something, like DOGS.
Compound nouns, which are two nouns put together to make one noun, like TOOTHBRUSH.
